About

Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining UT Dallas, I was a Mathematical Statistician at the Office of Biostatistics Research at NIH/NHLBI. I completed my postdoctoral training at UC Irvine, advised by Drs. Annie Qu and Babak Shahbaba, and received my PhD in Statistics from The George Washington University, advised by Dr. Xiaoke Zhang.

Research

My research focuses on Data-Driven Decision-Making and advancing the boundaries of AI. Specifically,

  • Core Theory and Methodologies: Reinforcement Learning, Causal Inference, Non/Semi-parametric Statistics and Functional Data Analysis
  • AI Systems & Interpretability: Large Language Models, Mechanistic Interpretability, AI Infra Operations Management
  • Applications: Few-Shot Learning with applications in healthcare
